| "Jesus did not come to make bad people better. He came to transform us into something entirely new."
"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me." Psalm 51:10 (KJV)
New lives for old, warm hearts for cold. That's what Jesus offers, and all for the price of being teachable.
Don't be afraid to shed the familiarity of old patterns and old clothes. Receive His discipline.
Then the true beauty of the new life Christ offers can truely be known. | | |
| PRE-SEASON IS OVER!!!! My last pre-season is done, finished, completed!!!! It is a huge relief. Now, comes the fun part, season! We leave for Philadelphia, PA tomorrow morning at 8am and don't return til noon on monday. Which means I'll miss the first 3 days of class. That's a great way to start off the new school year! These two games in PA will be tough, they are tough D1 schools. But I have a feeling that we are going to do great! and all I can do is my best! So if you guys wanna send me some texts or give me some calls to encourage and check up on me, that would be great! Hope everyone gets a good start with classes! See y'all next week!

| "...we were created for fullness. According to Ephesians 3:17-19, when we come to know Jesus as our Lord through faith, we begin to understand the incredible love of our Savior. And as we come to know this love better, we are "filled to the measure of all the fullness of God".
We were created for the fullness of God, not an ounce of liter less. But are we ready for that? After all, being filled to the measure with all the fullness of God will most likely require our being stretched. At the very least, it is sure to disturb our comfort.
Are we willing to let God explode our comfort zone and expand our capacity for him? Or do we want a God we can manage?"

| I could really use prayers for the next couple of weeks! Pre-season starts tuesday! I am kinda ready, but still anxious/nervous! I know i'll survive, but it's going to be tough! 6:30am runs, and two other practices throughout the heat of the day! And it's gonna be a hot one! Pray that God will give me the strength to do my best! Love you guys!
